NCE Introduction

NovaStar Certified Engineer, known as NCE, has trained more than 15000 individuals worldwide since its inception in 2014. Attendees are offered a variety of courses and valuable opportunities to delve into the essence of LED technology and the full spectrum of NovaStar products.

NCE courses are categorized into different levels based on application directions. Attendees can earn NCE certificates by participating in our training and passing the exam. In the future, the NCE system will continue to evolve, with the aim of nurturing a greater number of technical engineers for the LED display industry.

Certified Engineer in COEX System


This certification aims to cultivate engineers with proficiency in operating COEX systems. It is intended for technical support engineers, after-sales engineers, rental engineers and LED projectionist who have passed Level 1 certification. Candidates must master the basic parameter configuration, project scheme configuration, fundamental system operations, and the principles of various high-end modules of the COEX system. Upon certification, engineers will be capable of providing professional technical support and solution design services for projects utilizing the COEX system.

Target Group

  • LED industry professionals who have obtained the L1 certification, primarily targeting technicians engaged in high-end display projects such as virtual studio filming projects.

Prerequisites

  • Possession of the NCE L1 (LED Display Control Technician) Certification.

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in the LED industry.

Certification Scope

  • COEX Series Product Fundamentals:

    • Mastery of basic knowledge and device parameter selection for COEX series products.
  • Core Functionalities of COEX Systems:

    • Expertise in key features: image quality enhancement, frame rate processing, color processing, etc.
  • Load Capacity Calculations:

    • Proficiency in calculating load capacities for COEX products when paired with different receiver card network ports and controllers.
  • NCP File Management:

    • Understanding of the concept of NCP files and procedures for loading them.
  • Backup Types and Hardware Operations:

    • Mastery of various backup types for COEX products and corresponding hardware operations.
  • VMP Software Operations:

    • Proficiency in calibration coefficient management, brightness/darkness line adjustment, and multi-batch correction within VMP software.
  • HDR Standards:

    • Knowledge of industry-standard HDR specifications and supported HDR formats in COEX series products.
  • COEX ST 2110 Solution:

    • Understanding of the advantages of the COEX ST 2110 solution and its configuration methods.
  • COEX in xR Workflows:

    • Insight into COEX’s role in xR (Extended Reality) workflows, its functional contributions, and features optimized for xR scenarios.
